Ms Sunita Daniel is an Economist and Chief Executive Officer of Export Saint Lucia, the national agency responsible for trade and export promotion in Saint Lucia. She has worked in that capacity for five (5) years and has worked with a team of trade professionals to increase the value and volume of Saint Lucian exports. Ms Daniel previously served as a lecturer of Economics and the Chief Planning Officer for Agriculture for Saint Lucia. She has also worked for the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UNFAO) as Programme Liaison Officer to the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS).
Ms Daniel serves as the Chairperson for the Saint Lucia Marketing Board and is a member of the Board of Directors of the Saint Lucia Bureau of Standards as well as a member of the Marketing Committee of the Saint Lucia Tourism Authority.
She holds a Master of Science Degree in Public Policy and Management from the University of London, a BSc in Economics and Management from the University of the West Indies (St Augustine) and a professional-level qualification in Project Management from Cambridge University.
Ms Sunita Daniel possesses a vast experience in the areas of policy and planning, trade facilitation, agricultural and business development, and resource mobilisation.
